Glue

Need: Glue, Food Coloring, and Paper.
Color some glue in primary colors (add a bit of food coloring) and let them just glue G’s.
They will make new colors of glue by mixing the primary colors that you provide you can talk about that, too.
Gingerbread People

Need: Brown paper, scissors, glue, felt pieces, rickrack, sequins, fabric, or paper scraps, buttons.
Gut gingerbread people shapes out of brown construction paper or brown paper bags. Give one to each child. Have the children decorate their shapes with felt pieces, rickrack, sequins, fabric, or paper scraps, buttons, etc.
Variation: let the children cover their shapes with glue and sprinkle on dried tea leaves or coffee grounds before decorating.
Ghosts

Need: Black paper, White paint, and a Pain Brush.
On black construction paper have the children paint white ghosts. When the ghosts are dry, ask the children to give their ghost a name that begins with the letter G and tell a goofy story about their ghost.
Globs of Glue

Let the children spill small globs of glue onto sheets of waxed paper or acetate. Let the children sprinkle glitter on their globs and let dry. Have the children peel the globs off the waxed paper and attach a string and hang from light fixtures or in windows.

Cut out Grass and make a bunch of letter g’s. Attach leaves and stems to the letter g’s and glue them in the Grass.

Dip toilet paper rolls into purple paint and use to stamp a bunch of grapes on paint paper. Cut out the bunches of grapes and hang from the ceiling or put on a bulletin board with the letter G.
