Need: colored construction paper,  a stapler or tape, a hole punch, yarn,  markers, crayons, glitter, and other decorative supplies.

Directions: Give each child a colored paper. Have them decorate the paper with markers, paint, crayons, string, glitter to there liking. But only one side.  After the paper has dried, form a cone shape to fit around the child’s head.  Staple or tape the cone securely. (If you staple… e sure to color each staple with a piece of tape to prevent scraping.)  After you have made the cone, cut the bottom of the cone so it is even all the way around.  Punch two holes in the hat near the bottom to attach a string that will secure the hat on the child’s head.  Tie on the string.
