Piglet is so afraid of spookables that he doesn’t want Halloween to come. When Pooh suggests they should have a Hallowasn’t, Piglet feels he has let his friends down! Halloween has been cancelled and now no one will win the “best costume” contest! Then in a surprising turn of events, Pooh is captured by the spookables and there is only one true friend who can help him!
Can Piglet muster up enough courage to help? Will the spookables let Pooh go? Does Piglet overcome his fear of Halloween night? Who will win the “best costume” contest? These are some of the many questions that are answered in this cute book by Bruce Talkington. The pictures are very colorful and extremely pleasant to look at. The story line also teaches children that being afraid of something is okay, as long as you are yourself, people will still like you! I recommend this book for children from 2-8. The younger ones will enjoy the pictures and story and the older ones will enjoy reading it by themselves. A great treat for Halloween, who can resist another adventure in the hundred acre woods!
